Since starting their cosplay journey in 2012, Uptown has been combining their passions into one to bring characters to life:  cosplay, acting, dance, improv, and artistic creation.  They have been entertaining audiences with lively in-character stage work and renowned lip sync performances nearly since the beginning and developed a broad and supportive community online.  In their mission to keep cosplay an accessible art form to all, Uptown shares their work and experiences online so that anyone can enjoy them, regardless of whether they have the resources to attend conventions.

 

With 13+ years of experience in both cosplay and performing arts, Uptown loves to engage with audiences through interactive panels, event hosting, and immersive character-based performances.  Their journey started by being involved in their local cosplay community and they strive to always stay connected to those roots as they make appearances at conventions across the country and internationally.
